Baby blue, cerulean, azure, navy, turquoise – no matter the shade, the color blue invokes confidence, loyalty, and royalty. When I think of the color blue, a sunny day on a beach in Bali comes to mind but also one person in particular – Miss Mary Blue. Yep, that’s her nickname!
When I walked into the exam room to see one of my favorite patients at Oakland Vision Center Optometry, I knew it was going to be a good day. Miss Mary Blue was dressed head to toe in her favorite color with glasses and headphones to match. She had a beaming smile on her face eager for her yearly eye exam. Miss Mary Blue told me the color blue makes her feel calm and confident, whether she’s having a busy day at work or a night on the town. We definitely agree.
It was love at first sight with the “Billie” frame by Orgreen Optics, a small company based out of Copenhagen. And of course, the color is an electric blue. Miss Mary Blue was happy to show off her new look and add to her growing collection of blue colored glasses. We just love it.
Now she just needs that matching Rav4 to go with her designer glasses.
